Who's Playing

Florida @ Missouri

Current Records: Florida 5-5; Missouri 5-5

What to Know

The Florida Gators and the Missouri Tigers are set to square off in an SEC matchup at 4 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field. These two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Florida and the Samford Bulldogs were playing football. The Gators took down Samford 70-52 last week. QB Emory Jones went supernova for Florida as he passed for six TDs and 464 yards on 34 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 86 yards. That was the first 300+ yard effort for Jones this season.

Meanwhile, the South Carolina Gamecocks typically have all the answers at home, but last week Mizzou proved too difficult a challenge. Mizzou had just enough and edged out the Gamecocks 31-28. RB Tyler Badie continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, rushing for one TD and 209 yards on 34 carries.

The Tigers' defense was a presence as well, as it collected one interception and three fumbles. DB Kris Abrams-Draine picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.

The Gators are the favorite in this one, with an expected 9-point margin of victory. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past four games, so buyers beware.

The wins brought Florida up to 5-5 and Mizzou to a reciprocal 5-5. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Florida is stumbling into the game with the 245th most thrown interceptions in the nation, having thrown 15 on the season. The Tigers have had an even harder time: they are 206th worst in the nation in thrown interceptions, having thrown ten on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
